photoshop issues anyone got any ideas?

My photoshop keeps freezing/crashing
I don't know what has changed and i don't think it is a virus.
I tried to reinstall it, i updated my drivers for graphics/video..
im very say...
anyone ever have this issue of photoshop messing up...
It happens shortly after opening it and doing any work in it.
All my other programs are running just fine.

Its been happening to me as well. :/ And quite often. I don't know what it is either. I tried reinstalling and it helped for a while, but its back to crashing. I just say keep reinstalling [if it helped you, that is] as needed or move on to a new program altogether. x___x

I recommend GIMP, openCanvas, or Paint Tool SAI. ^^ The first two are free but SAI is 50 USD has a 30 day free trial, unless you know how to get the portable version. X3 I use OpenCanvas and SAI because they're easy to use. GIMP I found to be pretty confusing, but people seem to like it. :3

Thanks for the info, im gonna try them, i really like PS but i had the issues i seem to get every few months lol

hm thats abit of a tough one with oiut knowing what the rogram is doing nor the codes ect, but as for alternatives? Paint.NET, Inkscape ( more of a vector program like illustrator) , The Gimp, ugh i just woke up ther's more i know but i listed couple of opensource types.

it is a very interesting program, i keep that the gimp and Paint.Net around along with CS4
