New Glowstringing Video
I've been working on a 7 minute long video which encompasses my glowstringing path from the first video to 5 months later. All it lacks is to be posted on youtube. Ill have the link up when I get the chance.
BTW It looks awesome

HERE BE THE VIDEO!!!!
By the end, your butterflies were really solid and you had some really awesome handcuffs.
If I could make a couple of suggestions, the biggest thing I noticed was your planes tend to get a little wonky sometimes. They sometimes wobbled a bit and at other times almost shifted 90 degrees without it looking intentional (although I think it was). Planes are really, really hard to keep straight, and you don't get any obvious cool tricks to show for a lot more work than you probably put into any single move, but paying a lot of attention to them will make your motions look MUCH cleaner and controlled.
Good planes also open up a lot of really fun moves that are impossible to do otherwise. And, you can keep the viewer looking at the side of the plane where everything looks better. What helped me a lot was to just spin both poi literally up against a wall and then slowly start moving my arms around randomly until all positions felt comfortable and I could do it without hitting the wall at all (well, mostly at all).
If you do want to shift your planes around (like if you have viewers on both sides), I'd suggest learning stalls. Once you stall, the glowsticks have zero force for a short time and from there, you can actually change to any direction instantly, which can be done for some pretty crazy effects.
Nice tries for the orbitals, too! That's a hard move to get down. It took me like a year an a half of frustration before I got those down. I don't know if this will help you, but for me, I found that going into them from a weave is much easier.
Still, very nice stuff and I had a lot of fun watching you. Keep it up!
I really did like the one handed stuff. I think I'm going to ruthlessly steal the idea and see if it's possible to make that move you did intentional. >:)
