I've got a few drawings of him for some level of reference... It's almost entirely homoerotic kink, though. I can link to a few if you'd prefer or I can delineate in text and let you play with the design some.

Generally speaking, Phelan is a lean, sinewy creature with a runner's build in every respect. He's leggy, but having digitigrade legs tends to have that effect. THere's no really set pattern to his coloration, but generally he'll come in one of two flavors:
1. Tawny brown with a white belly, loins and rump (when showing), with no distinct transition between the feline and avian portions
2. Brown on top with a speckled white chest, and more of a gray-tan on bottom with a cream-white belly, loins and rump. THe "seam" between his cougar half and his hawk half is approximately the bottom of his ribcage or a little higher.
WHichever you choose should be fine. SImilarly, whichever nature (general/mature/adult) you choose is perfectly acceptable. I love to leave lots of leeway for the artist whenever they're receptive.
THe only stipulations I have with Phelan's body are as follows:
1. He has a cougar's tail, not a lion's tail.
2. He does, in fact, have paws instead of feet. I prefer him drawn digitigrade, but if that's a problem then plantigrade is alright, so long as he doesn't have human feet.
3. He does have talons. THey're usually yellowish.
4. He does have external ears. SPecific positioning and nuances of shape are up to you, I still haven't really decided on that yet.
Beyond that, I haven't given him any unusual markings or necessary accessories, though he *usually* (not always, but if applicable) wears some form of collar. YOu know, like 80% of the rest of the fandom's characters. :D
THe nature of his feet would usually preclude the use of shoes, but the lack of wings means that normal clothing is otherwise perfectly usable.
