fursuit teeth..just my opinion here

It really bothers me to see so many people building heads with those fucking plastic vampire teeth stuck in the lower jaw. They look.. stupid. I do not see animal teeth, I see some stupid, fake .50 cent plastic vampire fangs stuck in your sparkle huskywolfskunkdragonleopard's mouth. Seriously people. How hard is it to sculpt a couple of teeth and hot-glue them in?
Oh. Wait. I've done it. It isn't hard.
And if you're going for a realistic look and don't want sculpted teeth, buy a jawset because PLASTIC VAMPIRE TEETH ARE NOT THE ONE.

This is for you... http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3842239/
Where they just glue triangle-shaped pieces of felt on top of the fingers. I see it all the time, usually from amateur suit makers, but I once read a fairly professional looking fursuit website that recommended doing this also.
Now stuffed sewn claws I can go with.
REALLY? :| People have been that lazy? I mean yeah, I could see it as a joke, but personally I agree with you and I think its just silly. Sculpey is cheap and it takes literally less than a couple minutes to make a good tooth. If some people honestly like the way the fake vampire teeth look than cool, good for them, but otherwise why half-ass like that when you've spent all kinds of time and money making something amazing out of raw materials from scratch. Laziness, I say. :<
Kind of straying from the point but I think its kind of interesting how many different materials and techniques people use to make their costumes. Its just a testament to how creative others can be! Still, I feel lucky that my first attempt was a bird head and I didn't have to worry about teeth!
I guess laziness outweighs sense these days... it's not hard at all to sculpt the damn things :\
