Every time I want to share stuff between my laptop and my PC, it is an exercise of extreme patience.

Now I need the modified file from 7 back on Vista. D:
It has something to do with 7's Homegroup feature, which I apparently need to disable.
I've gotten it to where 7 can see my Vista folders, but Vista can't see my 7 Folders (except for Public Shared, which is a total waste of time).
USB Flash/Hard Drive, any form of memory card....
Under "Network and Internet", select "Choose Homegroup and Sharing Options". At the bottom, select "Leave the Homegroup".
As for the classic share option, just right-click on the folder you wanna share and click properties. Click the "Sharing" tab, and click the "Advanced Sharing" button. (use this option if you don't have an account you wish to restrict the sharing permissions to) Give it a name, check your permissions, and click OK.
Soon as the husband's done putzing around on 4chan, I'll take a look to see if I can get that to work. :D
You can always use an online hosting site, or use Dropbox.
