I'll be in Chicago for ACen this weekend (14th-16th) for my yearly pilgrimage to meet up with the internet. Yes, the whole internet is coming to ACen. They bring it in with semi-trailers full of floppy disks. Anyhow, I've been attending ACen since 1999! It's a pretty cool place and it's gotten waaaay huger than I originally remember it being.

I originally started going to this con just because, back before I knew anyone there or had made arrangements with friends to meet up there. In the middle of the night the day before the con I just decided I wanted to go to an anime con (back when I was into anime a lot more than I am now) and, having never been to one before, it seemed like a good idea at the time to just get in the car and drive 330 miles to it with zero prior planning! It was quite the experience! :X

So, yeah, if you're wondering where I am this weekend I'm out running around with friends and probably getting wasted and having fun~ :3
