heh, actually the ideas of mixing animals with human traits or vice versa can be attributed to many previous peoples, for example the egyptians. One of the many egyptian gods, Anubis has human body with the head of a dog. Even still there are many other civilizations who have similar depictions. I dont mean to shoot you down or anything, cause some of his works are quite comical as well, but just to state that he wouldnt be the first "furry" or and by no means the first nut case out there.
