Death and Work - Update
An assistant manager walked out and quit. Then a few days later a gal lock the store doors during business hours and spent 20 minutes in the bathroom with some guy.
So she was fired.
Wracked up 45 hours last week.
Haven't had a day off in two weeks. Tomorrow was supposed to be the day I only go in for three hours and that sort of be my 'day off'. But no. I'm opening, working half of my shift and then coming back in to close and finish it.
On top of this.
My Uncle David just died. Funeral's Tuesday or Wednesday. I hope to fuck I can get off. I'm so shocked. He was loading a boat in the town I live in and fell off and hit his head.
His brain swelled and he died.
Geez I wish commission stress was the only thing I was dealing with right now.
I'm so sorry you guys.
Okay. Found out a little more info about my Uncle David's death.
Turns out my brother's fiance got the wording wrong.
He was at the place he works. Jeffboat. On a ladder. And fell.
"A Jeffboat worker who fell from a ladder on the job Thursday died Friday morning from his injuries, the second such fatal fall at the shipyard in Jeffersonville this week.
Jefferson County deputy coroner Jack Arnold said Kent David Martin, 44, was pronounced dead at 8:23 a.m. from multiple blunt force trauma suffered in the fall."
Turns out he's the second to die at Jeffboat this week.
I was at work when he died. They said they tried to call me at home.

I hope you and your family are coping alright with your uncle's death. Sudden passings are very hard. >_<
This is why I always offer free art to people
I'll have to make you some arts sometime. Sorry for your loss. ;n;
On a side note, I commend you for being able to deal with work stress so well. I don't think I'd ever have the discipline to work as much as you XD
But on a light note, all that extra cash from work has gotta come in handy...
My deepest sympathies about your uncle. Its especially tragic when its a sudden death. I hope you and you family get through this tragic loss. *hug*
Ragghhh that work of yours. Shouldn't you be like the store manager by now? You've been putting your whole heart into that job for so long. :(
Please give a ring if you ever have a moment of alone time again. I been thinking about ya.
