Alright so, I live in a dorm, and where my room is located, I can hear everyone who holds a conversation in both the living room and kitchen because I am situated between the two. My roomie who live across from me has her fiance living with her as well, and they make dinner every night.

It's always a huge affair with them, they make making dinner sound like the most important topic in the world. Especially her fiance.

But what cracks me up the most, is that the guy doesn't actually cook, but talks about how much he watches cooking shows, and how they do it, and what his girlfriend's doing wrong and that she should do it like them. And then there is his all-time favorite thing to bring up.

His mom.

His mom makes everything heavenly and mouth-watering, and from complete scratch! At least, that's how he makes it sound. Constantly, I hear, "well, mom does it like this-" or "My mom make the best-blahblah-and she does the whole deal, she makes the sauce, the -whatever- -whatever- no one's can top it."

To his fiance, while she's cooking for him.

But the greatest thing I've ever heard come out of her mouth one night was:

him-"Maybe you should turn it over before that, babe, it might burn. Oh, it's gonna burn, use this sauce, but massage it in lightly and turn it over gently-"
her-"Is that how yer mom does it?" -sarcastic-
him- -missing what she said- "huh?"
her- XD "nothing, babe."
