I'm going to sign this, because I really don't think it's a freedom of speech. Crushing some animal to death isn't "speaking". it's "Acting out", and it's torture. I dare them to try that with a mountain lion rather than a kitten, damnit. ._.

I know. It's so disgusting. I'm pretty sure the whole fetish thing is just an excuse for them to get away with it. Which they shouldn't be able to do. The fact that they get away with it 100% no JAIL TIME, no FINE. NOTHING. It makes me sick!!

It is SO sickening. I nearly cried. I don't even WANT to know what watching the actual video is like... The thumbnail in the picture is saddening enough.

I did some research on the ASPC website, and there was a bill in place back in 1999 that "on April 20, the Supreme Court of the United States ruled in U.S. v. Stevens that the "Crush Act," a 1999 federal law banning the creation, sale and possession of materials depicting genuine acts of animal cruelty, is unconstitutional and overbroad in its scope."

Long story short, there is a bill on the floor that seeks to strike down the bill that rescinded the Crush Act, and give the act a narrower scope, but it still needs support. Therefore our representatives will not know how we feel unless we tell them, so the ASPCA link is one way to let them know how their constituents and the American people feel.

Good. All I want is the people who do this to fucking SUFFER. Just the idea of the supreme court letting them get away with it, no fines, NOTHING... It baffles me.

your most welcome, as a cat owner myself, it just sickens me that they would make it legal to crush kittens and other animals while filming just because of freedom of expression, I believe in free expression, but there is a fine line between free expression and animal cruelty, freedom of expression should not hurt anyone or anything, it should be harmless, the only thing it should cause is people to become offended, because that gets other people thinking if their offended.
