Something Personal

There are few documentaries that I find life-changing and capable of making me reevaluate myself as a person. After all, most are so full of dogma and rhetoric that even if you mildly support the topic they're covering you can easily say they go too far. This is not one of them. This documentary has convinced me that it is truly possible to have faith in god while being Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, or Transgender, and why it is possible. However, to truly get the message that has compelled me to reflect upon myself, you need to watch it to the very end. Don't get put off by the lean to it at the beginning. The people with negative opinion develop by the end and in that way you begin to get the ultimate message from this documentary. You can start with the first part here:

OP
That's what I'm thinking. The ultimate message in this is very positive, and shows a different side that's free from all the dogma that suffocates Christianity today. Granted, one has to be realistic and not think that just because you can justify your faith in god while be gay, lesbian, trans, or bi, most people have bought into the dogma. Still, it gives some kind of hope.
