Well on this topic I think Wolfblade ( http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/1418473/ Also great vid ) said it best. Key paragraph here

Frankly I don't see why Muslims get a free pass from mockery when all the other religions don't. Oh right they I'll kill you and everyone around you thing. Well isn't giving in to that encouraging the behaviour? I dunno it's pretty complicated and you don't often see that with the other religions which are mocked CONSTANTLY. But I'm sure if you poked hard enough some fundie would shoot you or something.

The fact of the matter is that faith is personal. You have the right to dictate your own life and actions based on your faith, but when your faith says you should be dictating the actions of others you've crossed a line. But then, you can't put it past theists to be entitled, I mean, they have THE CREATOR OF ALL THINGS on their side or some shit.
And agreed on all points. It's just another one of those times when people overreact over something that, in the end, is pointless to all riled up over. Of course there's going to be thick-headed people that are still going to bitch about these kinds of things, ( I mean I'm sure there's people around American that get their panties in a twist whenever the watch Jesus being depicted on Family Guy ) and it's pretty much impossible to get through to them, no matter how blatant their stupidity is. But still, it's a goddamn picture. Jeez.
