Hey guys, seeing as I am a Pokemon fan and I figure a couple of the people who watch me are, what's your opinions on Black and White?
Personally, I'm a huge Pokemon dork, and despite claims that they've "jumped the gun," I'm geeking out. Like, I remember when I was a kid, and Gold and Silver were announced. I basically was a seething ball of fangirl. Black and White... well, I'd be lying if I said I'm not repeating my childhood at twenty.
I don't care if they'll be too many Pokemon, 'cause I never tried to get them all anyway (save once, in Red; I was disappointed). I don't care if the starters are "ugly," 'cause they're all starting to grow on me. I'm all a-squee with drooling nerd rabies over this.
Et tu, folks? What're your thoughts?
And, you know, feel free to disagree with me, 'cause shit. It's just a game. XD

I'm excited too! I also only tried to get them once, but in Yellow instead of Red, and I was one pokemon short -- Vileplume! And I had a gloom and a leaf stone! And then my friend went and borrowed my game and RESTARTED IT. /despair!
But its so lame, what you get if you do get them all. So very lame.
And just focused on training things I liked. XD
As for the Grass starter, when I first saw him I thought he was just a green Cyndaquil, and the water one was deplorable, and the pig was the only one worth getting. But now the water one has grown on me with its strange cuteness, and the grass one has grown on me for reasons unknown... and I am torn. ;_;
I went and caught all of them on Yellow. Once. All I got was a printable certificate. D=
I didn't even have a Gameboy printer, so lot of good that did me. Kind of like in Crystal, with the Pokemon photographer in Cianwood City. I wanted SO BAD to have a picture of me with my Suicune... because I am one of those idgits who uses legendaries if they like them. *cough*
AND I DON'T KNOW WHICH STARTER I WANT. I just sajkdhjafjkfashfkjshafjf. At first it was the pig, and now the others have grown on me.
I play the starters in order. I took water, then grass, so now I'm up to fire. PLUS HE IS ADORABLE. =D
And, ahaha. I had this thing, ever since blue version, where I always start with a water starter first. It began with the first Squirtle I ever got, who I evolved into Blastoise before Cerulean City because I got lost in Mt. Moon (don't even ask how, I don't know either). He was, like, level 100 before the Elite Four.
In his honor, I always got the water type starter. *salute*
Well, until Platinum that is. I ended up with Turtwig that time around, because I cannot bring myself to like Empoleon. ._.;;
Squirtle was my very first starter, and then Chikorita, and then Cyndaquil. XD So I've just kinda kept going with stuff along those lines.
Did you at least get a Clefairy, though? D=
And, I dunno. After seeing the gameplay and stuff... I'm pretty psyched. It's not huge changes from what I've seen so far, but it looks like a promising new direction.
Then again, I'm a raging pokefag full of optimism. ;~;

Anyway, aweofijawpi9ejfawpoiejfpowaijef fan excitement~! I don't think there'll be "too many Pokemon" anyway. Because honestly, think about how many animals there are in our world's nature. It makes sense to have a loooooot. And the graphics. o3o And and and people talk to you as you walk by them.
