Heading for an ABSOLUTE DISASTER
I SWEAR TO GOD, my upcoming trip to North America started out with utmost positivity, everyone was laughing like OH JYM, YOU DA KING OF CRAAAZEH, and I'd say, don't believe the hype, see it for yourself, IN NORTH AMERICA.
But THEN CAME THE NEWS. BBC News to be precise, let me link you to numerous pages that are SLOWLY DESTROYING MY SOUL.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/in_depth.....no/default.stm The ash cloud is of concern to anyone flying to or from or around Europe at the moment. For anyone who isn't aware, if there's ash, you can't fly, foxes don't get to AC, dem's the rules. The worst seems to be over but it keeps coming back and no one can be 100% until they're on their flight.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/10130274.stm NEXT IS THIS. YES. I, like a FUCKING GENIUS am flying with British Airways. The current strikes are due to end on the 9th June, which is alright because I'm flying on the 23rd but you never know when they'll call more. Again I won't be happy until I'm on board.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/news/business.....cy/default.stm THIS ISN'T EVEN FUNNY. And while I'll try and refrain from suggesting it's a direct result of NICK CLEGG SELLING HIS SOUL, it's a problem because I have a hotel to pay for, so I can't buy when it's high, I have to pay whatever the rate is on the day.
All this is keeping me suitably concerned about my trip, but chances are everything will turn out fine.
But then TODAY. THIS. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertai.....s/10139846.stm
I swear to god, I am seeing them in Toronto on the 3rd July, I'm flying home on the 4th July, rescheduling isn't an option, them tickets cost a FORTUNE and even if he does recover in time what's the betting he'll be walking around stage like he's got a metal rod up his back?
ARGH. Any one of these stories would be a concern for my trip, but ALL OF THEM? AARRGH.
See you in June guys. :D

Naw but seriously we'll sort something out. BUT NOT AT THE WEEKEND, CHRIST.
THERE IS STILL HOPE.
