Another birthday has come and gone. There was cake, there was presents, but it seems as every year it becomes a smaller ordeal.

When we're kids, we look forward to every day as though it were the happiest day of our lives. But when we enter our later years in life, other things take predominance. Family, friends, school, the works. I just wish things could be like they were a few years ago...

Sorry, I've been doing that thing called thinking recently. I don't know why, as it's painful, but I have been.

So, my birthday is now over, but I'd say it was pretty alright.
