schizophrenia is a usually a catch all term for anything that psychologists can't classify.

it ranges from nervous behaviors, to abnormal/unconcious actions, to multiple personalities.

I suggest seeing a psychologist for evaluation before jumping to conclusions regardless, as incorrect self-diagnosis is common(especially among students of it, true of both medical things and psychological things) however, there is also a chance you may well be on to something, so, the correct next step is getting professionally evaluated, at the very least, I can tell you most likely suffer from clinical depression so could use treatment for that, so, set yourself up an appointment, hon, and, trust me, while some have a stigma, as I can say from experience, therapy, and a psychiatrist, and, indeed, if prescribed and needed, meds, can do a lot of good
