"In the pack, you're accepted for who you are..."
"It takes courage to be yourself..."
That's utter bullshit, these are the same teens from the past few decades, who just want to claim to be something more than the last bunch of awkward slackers, instead of finding some real purpose in life. It's one thing to just want to have fun, but these kids are trying to make everyone think that there's some deeper meaning to what they're doing- it's people like this that have made me loathe everything trendy.
They're not accepting each other for who they are, they're acquiring safety in numbers, gathering en masse all as pathetic as they. Seriously, furries used to be the bottom of the social ladder, but these kids have dug new depths! I say it's time for another change. In our grandparents' time, high schoolers were considered young adults- they occupied their minds with thoughts of enlisting in the military, beginning their careers, even getting married and having children. These days, you have to be almost 30 before you can be considered grown up. I'm all for staying young at heart, but these pukes need to grow the fuck up! Start worrying about keeping that job so you can eat tomorrow, not whether someone's making fun of the way you intentionally make yourself stand out! Besides, you're doing it ON PURPOSE!!
