Learn the anatomy, and the situation through the positioning. Anatomy study in general's key to it all. The way that muscles stretch, the dexterity of joints and the limitations of the body, things like that. After that, you can look at somethin on a porn site, be like "Hey, that position's pretty hot!" and try it out with your skill.

I say it's cool, but make sure that it's a step in the direction of learning as well as just drawing pr0n0, ya know?
