The legendary Ronnie James Dio passed away 7:45am on May 16th from stomach cancer. He was awarded the tittle of "Best metal vocalist" which he truly was. No doubt he was my favorite vocalist and yes, the best metal vocalist. He sang in lots of my favorite bands, including his self named band "DIO". He will never be replaced I will miss his music deeply, his music will live on.

Ye I heard about this the day he died.. it;s rockers death year I guess.. I mean first Pete Steele (Type O Negative vocalist) then DIO and just a few days ago Paul Gray (slipknot bassist) died

Yeah, and Dio had two more in the works! A Magica part II and a new Heaven and hell album... Its a real shame. Hopefully someone will finish what he started.
