Piercing discussion, GO!
Anybody like crazy large gauge earrings? I just ordered these and I'm SUPER excited:

I like big captives too, and I've been meaning to get some large gauge wooden hangies. That and I love Kaos earskins:

I also have a 12g second in my left lobe and I just usually have little itty bitty plugs in that, or small diameter captives.
What else do you guys like in your piercings? Favorite jewelry? Do you have stretched lobes?

FA+

I used to have matching horizontal and vertical industrial piercings (which made crosses in my ears) my lip, labret, spider bites and septum pierced, and was always thinking of getting my nape and back pierced. NOW...well I just have the 6 ear bits, and I'm thinking of getting my spider bites back. ^^ Weeeee metal. X3
My 1sts are at 1g right now, but I'm stretching to 1/2", and I think I'm gonna keep the 2nd in my left lobe at 12g. :3
I love crisscrossing industrials! My fursona's seldom-drawn alter ego actually has those, because I think they look so neat.
Spider bites are cool too. Are you still considering getting your nape done? I think it would fit you really well.
Labret-bothering my gums/didn't know about soft backed labret studs
Lipring-I got punched, and it ripped almost completely out, wouldn't heal right afterwards
Industrial crosses-took them out, but left the little one at the top of my ear, and my conchs for a bit ( eventually took those out too) because...well, this is crappy, but I couldn't wear earplugs, or ear buds anymore >>
Septum-just outgrew that one ^^;
Spiderbites-Shitty job I had made me take em out O.< ( but I'm gonna get em back...this weekend even X3)
And YES! Nape can be awesome X3 I'm just waiting on it...cuz I think it'll hurt X3
That suuuucks about the earbuds, I didn't even think about ear piercings creating a problem with those. I just know that when I stretch my lobes enough I'm going to string my earbud cords through eyelets. XD
Ooooh spiderbites. I hope you can get them again and all goes well. :3
And yeah I bet your nape would hurt a lot haha. It would look so awesome though.
And no need to be sad, life happens, to us, AND our piercings X3
And as for the labret, I don't have any permanent damage, I was paranoid about it and when I noticed a little moving of the gums, I took it out X3 Altho, now there are all sorts of soft backed piercings now, that would remove, or greatly reduce any gum irritation :D

True, true. Part of me is always just a little bit sad when piercings are retired though. :[
Yeah I would be super scared if I saw MY gums changing. D: Now that you know about the soft backed labret studs, would you ever get the piercing again, or are you done with that one? XD Orrrr is that what you're going to wear in your spiderbites?? OH GOD the possibilities.
It was a bummer. I gotta wait until my treatment is over before I can get anything pierced.
I wouldn't get gauges, but I don't mind them. They're just not for me. I just want little black studs. c:
Now I just have checkered black and grey plugs
But dude, AWESOM Serial!!
I really like the silicone ones, they are easy to take in and out, especially good for cleaning and come in a lot of different colors!
Awesome what? o.O
Silicone earskins are my new favorite thing. Nothing shows off your stretches better than big, gaping holes in your ears, lined with shockingly-colored silicone. :D
I just love black and grey so I was like OMG *grab* lol
I used to have sooooooo many and I had to stop getting them all, so much $$ lol
That is so true XD (I don't want mine super big because of my career, but with a 2g it's pretty easy to conseal)

I usually wear a lot of glass plugs but acrylic can be really cheap and convenient.
OH and 2g is a really cool size, I was really happy at my 2g stop between stretches. It's so versitile; you can dress them up or down super easily.
I've had glass ones, they glowed and were awesome but I stretched em bigger after that ha
If I ever need or want some new ones, I am totally going there to get them!!!
That's why I love having em that size :D

BodyArtForms is a great place to get plugs and such, AND they have free shipping for orders $25 and over. :D [/infomercial]
When I got to 2g I was so excited... I hadn't had earskins since 6g, and once I put the 2g ones in I was like WHOA OMG SO HUGE.
OH gosh, toootally going there next time!!!!
I knooow it's a huge difference from a 6/4 to a 2.
There's not a big enough difference to go from 6 to 4 so I just got a 4 then a 2.
