So last night I had a dream that the band Gorillaz was looking for a new bassist because Murdoc mysteriously disappeared, and so they were having a.. kind of.. "test-to-see-if-you're-worthy.." ..camp. It was almost like a reality show except it didn't burn gaping holes of stupid into my brain. A bunch of the NPCs from Brutal Legend were there trying out and chillin' and it was pretty sweet. I was myself for part of the dream, just wandering around and chillin', and I was 2D for some of the dream, doing the same. At one point, I was walking around later in the evening as the sun was going down and I was trying to head back to the band's.. cabin.. thing.. (I was 2D at the time) and then all of a sudden I see Noodle walking around in the twilight. I'm like, "Hey, what're you doin'? We should get back to the cabin!" but she either ignores me or doesn't hear me. Then I see that she's carrying around a big remote-controller thing and I'm like, "..o_O -Watches with interest-" Then she turns towards me and starts doing stuff on the remote controller and I'm just watching and then-- WHOASHIT SOMETHING IS CRAWLING OUT OF THE GROUND LIKE A ZOMBIE. I'm like, "FGHSDFD" and jump backwards, and it's even freakier when I see that it's a freaking robot wearing Murdoc's lifeless corpse like a bodysuit shell. And Noodle is commanding it with a neutral nightmare-fuel face as she makes it come after me. Being 2D, I start stammer-squealing in terror and scramble away as fast as I can, but to my horror, I find that I'm being dragged backwards by zombie-robot-Murdoc's.. ..grabby.. robot.. arm.. thing.. that's coming from his chest like some sort of metal chestburster. I end up blacking out (or fainting) and I wake up feeling horribly violated and experimented on - almost like something was destroying me from the inside, but I get the feeling that it was just "phase one" and the next phases would ultimately lead to my death - but she would have to catch me first. So then I spent the rest of the dream trying to escape, but nearly every time I went outside, I would wander for three minutes or so, and then I would see Noodle standing blankly off in the foggy distance with the remote control and I would freak the fuck out and try to run the other way, start getting caught by zombie-robot-Murdoc and then narrowly escape only to look behind me and see that she's following - and walking, like she knows that I'll get tired sometime, and that she'll be there when I do.
