Suffice to say Kylen, douchebags will be douchebags. :/ Some people just wanna see things their own way no matter what, and those folks are a prime example of it. Fan art doesn't HAVE to follow certain ways or all specific conceptual formulae. Heck, almost any animated show has had its share of fans drawing and writing things how they conceive them or wouldn't mind them. Exactly as you said, it's FAN ART for that reason.

Makes you wish there was a trout-slap button on dA like IRC had. You could spam it to clog up their message boxes (but couldn't retaliate unless you said something). Granted it wouldn't beat the stupid outta them but... well it's a nice thought anyway.

They are all around the internet, the people who are so caught up in fandom or something of that nature that if you do one single thing out of place in "their" fandom they will flip out on you because goodness forbid you have fun in said fandom yourself doing what you please.

It's never cute, it's always annoying. It just a shame you can't actually pat them on the head with some force, or punt 'em.

Sad to say that I've found DA to be increasingly lousy on many levels. My computer got infected twice by it, and sometimes it seems like everyone there is on edge.

I love imagination police- they make me lawl. Especially the ones that pair their Mary-Sue with a canon character, and then runs around and attacks everyone else who pairs their characters with the canon character.

To be honest, DA is just annoying. They are always doing "upgrades" that make the site run crappier than it did before, and they admins are pretty uncaring, last time I dealt with them anyway.

As for your particular situation...I'm sorry your piece seemed to snag a dumbass. Maybe if he wants Colleen with Hunter, he should draw it. Gah, people...

Well, if you know of a way to block users, let me know. Coz I checked the FAQ and it only gave me the spiel on 'hiding' comments.

Plus, DA crashes my browser on my laptop AND my iphone ALL THE TIME. And it's user interface is just plain annoying. I may just relegate my human art there and that's it.

Well, it's been several versions past since I had to ban some dickhole from my page, so I couldn't tell you were to go in that incoherent crap they call improvement to even start. I'll go through my account tonight and see if I can figure it out. If I can, I'll note you or something.

Be careful of malware from DA too. I have gotten it a total of three times whereas a friend of mine has gotten it a few more times...and I keep hearing of other people who are getting it from there, too.

I'll go ahead and warn you that every time they change their interface, it gets worse. I can't think of a single improvement they ever made. It's pretty horrible.

Yeah I don't care much for DA anymore. They've basically backed users into a corner in that you either have to pay for a premium membership or risk getting malware because of the fucking ads they've got on their site. Also their quality of service just completely sucks. Their admins do fuck all as far as dealing with stolen images and such goes. Example is I could take one of your images off of there, put it on a photobucket album, report that same submission of yours to the admins providing them the link for the picture that I STOLE and tell them you took it from my site. At the very least, they would remove the image from your gallery, maybe even ban you.

That said, no I will not do that to you or anyone else so rest easy. I've had enough experience with those twats and heard enough from my friends that yeah, they're not to be trusted at all.

I think it's a very cute picture and so do a lot of other people. :)

lol during my friend aggro's livestream. Aggro gets done with the picture and asks the commissioner if it's all good, if there's anything that needs to be changed. Commissioner says, "This looks great, but I think I'd rather it have this other character in there. So could you just keep the same poses but replace X character with Y character?"

It was terrible because Aggro's such a nice guy, he didn't want to be mean to him, but geez... "Yeah, just one minor change, could you draw this *other* picture for me?" *rages*
