(still having that dumb login issue on this account..so late cross post. sorry.)

My family has suffered from an ever growing period of miscommunication over the years, and the reality of how little we know about eachother has been disturbing me more and more each day. For the few of you following my twitter and/or speak to me, you would vaguely know my current situation.

We are losing the house at the end of this month, and have still been unable to find a new house to move into. I didn't know we were even in danger until a few weeks ago, and it wasn't definite (the only person worrying/saying anything about it was my mom) until 3 days ago. A friend of mine is offering me housing, but I do not know what will happen to the rest of my family.

The only person supporting my family right now is my mom. She has owned'n managed HaiRave beauty salon (of Silver Spring, Maryland) for over 20 years, and has been our only source of income for a long while now. This made it even more alarming when she told me this morning that she's thinking of closing down the shop. Without the shop we will officially be without an income, and be 100% completely homeless and penniless. There's so much of a gap between the time this problem began, and the time she decided to let us know. I'm guessing my relentless independance came from her, as she swore she could eventually bring things under control, regardless of how deep things got..and when everything's too far gone, this comes up seemingly out of nowhere. She's been trying to get a 5k loan to save the business, and this is on top of the months of unpaid rent... I dunno if there are any places that can help us, but if y'know anything please help.

My father has worked as a network admin for several places, and had been laid off quite some time ago, and has been having trouble getting another job because of his age. Younger people with less qualifications have been getting his job over and over and over again, and he has become a cold and generally unlikable person over time. He knows he is capable of helping to support the family, but he's not being allowed the chance. This frustrates everyone in the household... If i were him i would atleast settle for a lower paying job for now, rather than just heading straight for the positions previously held.

My sister and I have still been unable to get work, and are still attending college to hopefully get the papers required to get good jobs in the first place. If this situation continues as is, we will be unable to continue our education, and everything will be left frozen for an unknown amount of time. We have few options at this point and everything ahead is a huge mystery.

We need help...be it advice, or financial help..we need help.

I do not know why I'd be deserving, but if you have any spare change..advice...know of any houses up for rent in Silver Spring, Maryland...
