If it starts back up, it's usually something attatched to your computer making it do this. ^^ I had the same problem. what OS you running on? If it's 7 or probably Vista, I can try and help you fix it.

Right, go to command prompt (typing "cmd" into the startmenu searchbar and hitting enter) and type "powercfg -lastwake" (without quotation marks). look down the list that comes up for "Description" and tell me what is in that field. :3

Your ethernet cable is waking your computer up from hibernation xD

Go to Device manager, find your Network Adapter and click 'properties' and find the "Power management" tab. In there should be the option to untick a box labelled "allow this device to wake your computer from hibernation". Untick, Apply/OK, and voila, that *should* solve the problem. If it doesn't, let me know. ^^
