Did you try completely disconnecting/reconnecting everything?

yeah I tried that, but it didn't work, though my room mate found out that some troll hacker on youtube by the name of red indian was threatening to hack me, and while I was taking a look at my router settings, i noticed a second computer connected to my network, and I now have to back everything up onto some dvdr 9's that my room mates friend sent him and reformat and whipe out everything this worthless sack of shit did to my computer.

RAWR-_- Why would somebody do that? And you're beyond sure that it isn't the roommates - just making sure. ^.^

I am beyond certain, I was checking my modem configuration while being guided by my pet who is working towards an IT job and I noticed two computers connected to my connection, indicating that someone is using it, when the computer I am using is the only one that is connected to the internet, meaning it was a remote connection, and my room mate came across this troll on ED and got into a verbal fist fight with this twink and before we knew it, the asshat hacks my computer.

well,looks like I was able to restore my computer to the point where I can connect to the internet, but there may still be work that needs to be done :>, bbut the bright side is, I am back.
