Last night, my B-bed roommate left his internet group, leaving himself without use for his laptop. He offered to sell it to me for $60, and I immediately pounced on the deal. On the weekends, my C-bed roommate drags out an ethernet switch and gives his computer-driven roommates free internet.
It seems I have found my way back once again.

I just installed WIndows 7 on my new laptop. This is MUCH better than the installation of Vista that was on here! It runs smoother, takes up less space, and looks pretty nice as well. For those who might be wondering what else is going on in my life here, I'm getting ready to leave Job Corps, which will mark the end of these little diary entries.
... Onna side note, if someone can help me shut off this fucking mousepad on this laptop, I'd be eternally grateful. This thing made me have to retype this entry three goddamn times. >:/

Another week gone, another weekend. I'd post this right now, but my roommate loaned out his switch, so I have to wait for that to come back before I get to post this.

Juat got off P.M. shift a few minutes ago, and I'm exhausted. Unfortunately, my dorm's new staff is on a G.I. kick, and wants the whole dorm cleaning their rooms fucking white glove clean for an hour and a half every night. I wanna sleep, gods damnit! However, I'm this close to leaving now, I have to plow through or my family's gonna kill me.
... Even at that, this is still bullshit.

Gods, my room is epic! Morning time is cleanup time, and the three of us still in the room at the moment are all mashing away at buttons on various machines, two of them being laptops, the third a PS3.
Tonight's onna be interesting: the kitchen staff is bringing in new blood, and his first task is to run P.M. shift tonight. I'm considering whether or not to screw with him halfway through the shift by walking out of the room and walking back in a few minutes later with my chef's coat on backward. I'll bring you the results of my idiocy tonight!

Okay, I never got to do the backward coat thing to the new guy, since I got stuck serving on the line. He would have laughed though; he's an easygoing guy.
Anyway, I wasn't able to get online last weekend or this weekend because my roommate was retarded. He loaned out his ethernet switch to a guy that was supposed to give it back the next day, and wund up keeping it through the weekend, the week, and the next weekend! Needless to say, I'm not exactly happy with the situation. Considering the fact that this has been waiting long enough, I'm gonna see if I can't throw it onto my jumpdrive and upload it today.
