How selfish can I be for a convention...?

I mean, Otakuthon will be the first convention I'll go to and I want it to be a very nice experience to me! So is that selfish to want to buy this so I can look like pretty Rinoa from FF8: http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=310212728884&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
Thing is... as you can see the costume costs 99.99 USD plus 19.99 USD for the shipping... which makes about 120.00 USD. I can afford paying for about 60.00$, but I need help for the 60.00$ other. That's the part where I become selfish:
If someone here can help me, please spread the word to see if somebody would like to commission me T^T
