It's not that bad as long as you don't have "yiff" in your profile and you word the add well. I have had more look finding friends on that site then I have anyone to date though. I have had two fairly good dating relationships come from the site and 4 good friendships and have had an add for about 6 years I guess. Unfortunately most of the girls I have met from it have been either crazy, taken, gay, or some combination there of.

I find tellin' them outright is the wrong approach. I found tellin' them ya like animal art is the better route. DAMN...what a bitch!

I like the artwork, sure, it's fun, cute, sometimes sexy and once in a while really damned impressive. But most of the rest of the 'furry culture' and fursuits and crap like that are just... wtf? Not condemning of course, but, definitely not for me. Think I've met maybe 6 'furries' in person (out of a group of around 200 or so here) that I actually like. And by 'like' I mean, 'don't want to strangle on sight'.

Sucks about your girl though man. But hey, look at it like this, at least you didn't waste a few years on her. And if she's that intolerant about something stupid and silly and insignificant as this, just imagine how the rest of the time would have been. Better off without her.

Yeah like, for me I like the art, I like "being furry", fur suits are cool sometimes but I wouldn't like to wear a full body suit all the time (but to each his/her own). for me the biggest part of the fandom I dislike is using it as an excuse to act overly promiscuous, having no personal boundary respect, not having to act like you have a brain and the furry trolls who have the nerve to complain about "human" trolls. I think that is what a lot of people see when they think of furrys and run away they, think everyone is sex-driven, boundary stepping trolls with a thing for bestiality (again to each his/her own), but a majority of the time it's not true and it's unfair to all the more...lets say well behaved members of the fandom, but as much as it's the fault of fandoms bad name it's also the fault of the stupid people who believe the stereotypes that all furrys are this way

i was at a fur-now meet up thing in my town, it was very fun for me. besides the fact that i had to call alot of dumb asses out for getting to close to me!
