I'm going to be busy for at least the next month art-wise - possibly longer depending on how many hours I get at my day job (maintaining near-full-time would be a good thing, even if it means less time for art).

First, I've got a set of four paintings commissioned by a family member. All pet portraits.

After that, I need to work on a series of somewhat-connected pieces. They're probably going to be in the same general steampunk-ish theme as Heart of Brass. I finally applied to a local art gallery and was told my work makes the cut. However, I need 6-8 pieces that would fit together in the gallery space. I applied with a variety of work and was encouraged to go with the steampunk theme because they don't have anything like that in the gallery yet. So we'll see how that goes.
