Internship

This past Friday I finally started my internship with Nauticus. It was a long haul to get it started and I am glad it finally did. Started with an interview and orientation. Then it moved to I needing a copy of my transcript and two letters of recommendation. That is where it took the longest. I got on it right away with sending out emails to my boss and one of my professors I've had a couple times. I got the one from my boss but never received the one from my professor, even to this day. Not even a single word from him after the two more emails I sent to him. Got the letter instead from my anime club's president.
My first day was training. I am at the live exhibits department taking care of the marine life we have and educate the public about them. I still have a lot to learn about them. What I will be doing there is preparing the food for the fish, feeding them, cleaning their tanks, and whatever else comes my way. There are three other interns/volunteers that I will be working with and I hope to have a wonderful time there. Now to increase my hours there so I can complete the required 150 hours needed for this internship and find a part time job in the area to keep myself alive during the remainder of summer. Once school starts back up I will be returning to my old job at the library there and possibly continuing this internship as it looks like I won't be able to complete it during the semester (damn that professor for making me wait 2 1/2 weeks for a letter he never got around to)
