Playing Video Games, a metal illness?

it talks about how some people want to make video game addicts a legal mental illness where they can get insurance on it for kids who play too many games and parents don't know how to limit or stop there kids from playing a game too much, I say "smack the shit out of your kid if they threaten to hurt you for taking away there games!"
Another thing to think about with this is how far will they go to say that this is a mental illness, someone like my self who gets upset when he lags and gets killed due to it when playing a online first person shooter and curses about it could end up being called mentally ill if they fucking go that far.
This should not be a mental illness, parents and people should just learn how to control there game play amounts, or beat the shit out of there kids for not working out and getting there ass's away from there game systems, I was smacked around as a kid and I personally think it's a good thing as long as it's something like spankings or what not, something to get them from not being a little dumb fuck
I mean really, if you had kids, and they threatened to hurt you for taking there games would you not want to smack them upside the face?
No I do not support child abuse, I simply think that someone needs to get knocked around from time to time to help them grow as a person, if you never fail or get beat up and lose you will always think your the best until you piss off the wrong person for being a dumb fuck and get stabbed or shot like most people do lol.
Yeah if you could not tell I'm venting over that artical, it has some strong points, but really it's only cuz if you lay a hand on your child it's abuse or sexual abuse now a days, I mean you can legally spank your kids till they are 18, but you know that if a father did that to the 16 year old daughter and someone say, they would try and say the father is raping her ><
I took law classes, this simple gaming shit would be a pain in the courts, I can see it now "teen ager plays a video game, gets mad and kills a person who had been beating him or her up for the past six months, but due to the kid lost in a video game and threw a fit two weeks before he killed this person, so he is now in a mental ward for the next two weeks instead of spending life in jail for this brutal murder"
I am telling you if they pass that as a mental illness you will fucking see that on the TV or online in the news some day. Just let parents smack there children when they get out of line and not work out enough!

It's a game people, think strongly about what your getting, if it's appropriate and how you think your child may react, heck play the game first to see if it's suitable!
