im only stating something that is fact so dont nip me in the butt
being a watcher means you watch out for those whom are your friends, favorite artists, or favorite writers, photographers, and musicians. whether or not you comment on their work is entirely your decision. you can favorite it, but you dont necessarily have to leave a review a mile long either.

when i post work, i know that im only going to get so many views and comments because im not widely known or popular in the anthro community, but im not saying even if i was i would get any more recognition than i am already getting. dont be upset if people dont comment on your work Iridon, its not that people dont care, its because people have preferences over wanting to take the time to sit down and really commit into looking, reading, listening, or viewing work by said artists and then leaving a comment.

just keep working and in time more and more people will come. perfect example is when i posted http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4034541 because cursedmarked let me and i wrote a story to it, i literally gained 20 new watchers, only 2 or 3 of which actually commented on my page. it got a decent amount of views, but also because the ART was not mine, the STORY was.
im not mad that i didnt get 10,000 views and comments, not at all. im just happy that i got a piece of work done by someone and was able to repost it with a bit of my own work attached to it.

just take it easy Iridon, good things come in time. whether it is short or long in the amount of time that it takes, well, lady Fate will make that decision for you.

Welcome to the world of the Literary Iri.

I've been posting writing here for a long ass time, and I only get maybe 2-3 views, let alone favs or comments for each. Like Tanek said, I did http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2393479, and the only reason it got any sort of notice was cause the artist I did it for faved it. And you can ask a lot of people. I RARELY comment on submissions.

One shouldn't do things with the hopes of gaining popularity. Write what you love, show what you want to share, and enjoy knowing you put a small piece of yourself out there
