Well... what a hectic day =3

yush... rather hectic...
Came home from college around 1pm... ate lunch... and was about to go to a family friend's house with my mum, but then there was a massive crash from the ventilation fan thing above our oven... I went up to it and hit it... there was loads of fluttering and rustling...
so we called dad to come and have a look... he didnt believe us (cos, sod's law; it was moving loads untill he walked it, and it moved when he walked out again >.> )... luckily, we had a painter, who is also a general handy-man, in at the time. So they (eventually!) got the fan vent thing out, and a baby bird (still had it's eyes closed, possibly less than a week old!) fell out. I held onto it untill dad and our painter FINALLY put the vent fan thing back in (took ages)... dad tried to find the nest, and I was a little worried that he would just chuck it outside >.> but I managed to persuade him to call the RSPCA...then we called the RSPCA... but dad had to go to work... and he made me drive there >,<... and I had no idea where it was!!! so he drew me a (very crappy) map and sent me on my way with the baby bird in a box (lol!) It was one very long, confusing, hot drive >,< but I eventually got there >.>... Was worried about it getting too hot and dying before I got there though...
We originally thought it was a blue tit... but the lady who took the bird off my hands was having a hard time identifying it... she thought it was a sparrow, cos it has a wide mouth, but it's beak was thin. It also had a yellow spot on the back of it's head and bluey/green feathers on it's back. xD
SO! That's my first experience with saving wild animals =3 and the point of this journel is that, ever since watching Wildlife SOS on animal planet, this is the job I reeeeeeeally wanna do!
So Im feeling happy that I've saved a life now =3
