So I thought it was about time I posted another journal XD. Currently sitting here with Ari, while she draws, so I may as well post one hehe.
So, what's going on in the land of Nix you may or may not ask? Well as per usual, my work is failing hardcore in the pants XD. They're striving for this new personal record profit for the financial year, so they're using and abusing staff more than usual. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays have now been cut down to one person and a manager to close up, rather than 2 and a manager.. apparently one person is supposed to do the work off 2 people in the same amount of time, without getting paid extra for staying longer if needed... go figure.. They are full of failcakes, yet no matter how much shit I have to deal with from there, and feel as if I want to ragequit, I still find I love it therel... or love to hate it, either one :P.
Though the shit I'm dealing with at work is making me question things about my life.. I know I'm not overly old, but I feel as if I'm going nowhere at the moment, and that I wont be going anywhere anytime soon. I'm not exactly going up any further in my workplace (they're bumping up their favourite little teenagers that stand around and talk all day, over me who actually does work, even though they leave me in charge all the time... fail). I feel like I should be studying or something at Uni, but I have no idea what to study lol. I guess 20 isn't really that old to be saying I've wasted my life though :P.
I got a call from my dad the other day as well (at 7:30am >.> I was so out of it), telling me my grandfather on my dad's side had passed on during the night.. I've been hearing that he's gonna go at any moment, and then all of a sudden is better again for quite a while now, so I've kinda gone through the grieving process already over it, but still yeah. The funeral is next monday, and my brother and father are coming down from New South Wales for it. I can only imagine now the shit that's going to go down meeting up with all the family. I was already abused on Christmas Day for not inviting them to the engagement party.. which brings me to something on quite a happier note.
Me and Firey have started planning our wedding :3 and I have my wonderful best friend Ari as my Maid of Honour :D I'm a little excited XD. Of course me and Firey arent having the big traditional wedding... and having a rave party of sorts for the reception :P Oh yeah XD. I've already chosen out the dress Ari and my other bridesmaid (non-fur lol) are gonna wear for it :D
Hopefully by the stage of my wedding I actually have my licence back >.> I finally got around to booking a lesson with a driving instructor to start getting my licence back... then I had to cancel it when I realised that my Learners had actually expired.. I went to the placey place to renew it, and have been told that I need to redo the L's test now completely. If they expect me to redo the 50 hours and 6 months on my L's someone will get hurt XD And if that's the case, then that will also ruin my plans of driving to MiDFur in December with my boy, Ari and Fala (possibly heading over with another car of people from SA :P). Hopefully this is not the case, also, as we are hoping to get a new car before MiDFur too (a 2009/2010 Holden Cruze :D). But at this stage, unsure on what's gonna happen with all of that, and it all depends on how much money we end of saving up and such before then :)
