I had my first day of work today at Michael's.

Needless to say I was shaking like a hyperactive chihuahua on crack.
I couldn't stop shaking because they put me right up at the registers first thing.

But about half an hour into my shift, this guy comes up.

He's middle aged, graying hair, rather portly.

And he is the most fabulous homosexual I have ever met.

He complimented my hair, then we talked about baking, and when Paula Dean's voice came onto the stereo speaker, we both turned and said "Shut up, Paula."

That man made my day a little less terrifying.
Thank you mystery man.
Thank you.

Note: how do I know he was gay? We both talked about going to the True Colors conference here in Connecticut when he noticed my band on my arm. He took his husband this year.
