My life was changed forever. Before this date, back in 2000, I was a fairly innocent and church-going person. On June 25th, however, I was a bit of a fan of the show "Road Rovers" and wanted to see if I could find any art related to the show. Little did I know at the time that I would discover a unique and interesting group of people known as furries. I loved the pics that I found, which was simply fan art of the characters of that show. Then I saw pictures other people had drawn of themselves as a canine standing on two feet. In fact, one of the artists is on FA right now. His name is
fluffypup. His art helped turn me into a furry. Within a year, I had become completely immersed in the furry fandom. I even drew my very first character out, which can be found here! This character would not be used until early 2009, when he was brought back from the dead as Ty Husky. I started to form a dragon character almost 1 month later, and came up with DragonKid. At first, he was just green and blue, then as the years progressed, I started adding things to him to make him more unique. I added the tail spade and the spikes along his back.
This is what I've seen over the past ten years:
1. I remember looking for art on Yerf, then turned to VCL, which probably started my corruption phase.
2. I've seen the furry movement go from Furnation, then Sheezy Art, then Y-Gallery. After Y-Gallery banned Anthro art (so to speak), I saw the creation of Fur Affinity and was even in the beta for it.
3. I've seen more FA crashes than I want to remember. This includes the one in summer of 2005, in which the site was offline for a few months.
4. I remember Alkora having two other names, first Byakko Wolf then Jheryn Lightfoot.
5. I remember getting jealous that people I knew online were going to Anthrocon and I couldn't go. I still am this way somewhat today, but it's not as bad.
6. I remember going to my first furry convention, which was Oklacon 2008. I went to Oklacon 2009 and plan on attending this year as well.
7. FURRY DRAMA! :D
8. Watching my mind get more and more corrupted with each passing day. I thank the fandom for that mostly, but Oklacon was the start of an accelerated corruption, which can be seen just by watching my videos on Youtube. My friends Harvest the Husky and Graystone Husky are also to blame for this. :P
9. And lastly, I remember being able to somehow keep this entire lifestyle of mine secret from every friend and family member! I did not tell my parents and brother about being a furry until October 2008, when I knew I would have to explain why I was going to Oklahoma for Oklacon for a few days. As of right now, they mostly don't have an issue with it, which is good.
There's much more than what is listed above, but that's all I could remember off the top of my head. I went from an innocent individual to having a corrupt mind so far in the hole, that it's pointless to dig out of it. So I just want to thank everyone for being my friend from the very beginning and I plan on staying in this fandom, regardless of what happens next.

You helped me in past, with things not involved with furry too. And I don't forget.
I wish you good and doing some real cuddles with you would be great!
