WebKinz Sports and Athletics Network Announcement:
the casting calls for ownership is now open!
there are only 8 teams.
you decide what your team name, location and logos are. after all 8 teams are selected, there will be a draft. the draft is for all species of adoptable plush webkinz only. not the e-store pets. to see the list of species available, please goto:

and select the "catalog" to see the list. retired webkinz CAN be picked for your team. however, there will be no e-store pets allowed into the leagues of wsan. i cannot stress this enough. also, you cannot pick the same species more than twice. i.e. you can pick a ribbon unicorn twice and a normal unicorn twice. but selecting 3 raccoons is illegal. this is only an example of what is and is not allowed. finally, the focus of the sport of the year is only a certain length of games. since this is the first season, we will do 1-game match-ups for each team. so, for seven weeks (excluding a special week for an introductory "all-rookie" game), the teams will participate in a 9-week schedule for the first season. there are 9 weeks, for one week is an off week and the other week is the all-rookie game, which acts as a second week for the players' off week. then, there's a 3-game series for the semi-finals and the finals. since there are 8 teams, half of them will not make the cut. the other four are the contenders for the "Kinz Cup". the "KC" (kinz cup) is the first championship for the first year of WSAN podcasts. the winner of the KC decides what the next sport to be played for the next season. the sports list will be cut in size and will also be a little longer in season length, depending on the sport and number of teams.
