Okay. I know I've offended a friend. And I have apologized, and I guess I still am writing---typing this journal. See, here's the thing.
THE DO-LIKE AND DON'T LIKE OF SCENE KIDS FOR ME ON FA
1. That all they do is take pics of themselves on FA. We know you may not have anything better to do, but...please don't put up 1,00 pics of yourself. This isn't facebook or myspace, like everyone says...
2. The way they look. This one's toward the girls, not the guys, cuz you dudes are HOT! anyway, girls..the hair? Is it really nessecary top dyr your hair all these different colors and put on fake stuff to impress people? You may impress some, but to others, it's just downright...odd. _says the furry_
and 3. I'm kind of pissed at myself for saying this, but it's my opinion. learn it, respect it if you're my friend, but you don't have to agree with it. Don't get me wrong, I do like scene kids, just that this is the only stuff I don't like. So stick that in your juice box and suck it!
Just kidding about the juice box thing. But again, I apologize to anyone on FA who reads this who is, or likes scene kids, and if you have anything to say about it, the comment box is below.

every scene has its own..almost exaggeration. to me it looks like they're all trying to not conform to to mainstream society, but even nonconforming has its conformity.
personally, i find scene kids, pretentious indie kids..heck..any one can cross the line, a little silly, the hardcore serious "IM SO DIFFERENT" kids.
but ahwell :) they have a right to act how they want.
"I like so and so band that you've never heard of..."
"I wear these clothes and you don't even know where I got them..."
"I dye my hair this color because it's unnatural and because the popular kids would never do it..."
I know a bit about this mentality because I used to conform to such nonconformist ideals (particularly when it came to music and clothing). I tried to be someone I wasn't just so I could be labeled 'interesting,' and I made the mistake of caring more about that than anything else.
I know this is a broad generalization. Some people who dress in the "scene" fashion aren't doing it just to be a rebel. Good for them! Anyone can act how they want. Eventually, they figure things out. That's probably why you don't see many scene kids in college.
As for your points:
1.) I don't have a problem with people posting pics of themselves here on FA. However, the more people do it, the more pretentious and conceited they seem. I only post pics of things that have some element of "furriness" to them.
2.) The girls get crazier with the looks? Maybe, but I think it's a little biased to say just after you mention that you think the guys are hot.
