im kinda afraid of dying in my sleep tonight. theres a really odd scent in my apartment and its making me really REALLY dizzy. i cant track it down either...

If it smells like eggs, it'll be a gas leak. Natural gas is odorless, so the gas company adds a smell agent into the line so you can detect it.

Dude, it might be carbon monoxide. And that CAN kill you. If it's making you dizzy, GET OUT. Sleep somewhere else, and call for someone to check out your home. It's not worth dying over.

Leave the house and have somebody check it seriously. It's much better than possibly dying over.

It could be a gas leak as mentioned in other comments or a chemical spill nearby.
