Hello FurAffinity,

I’m back from Anthrocon. In fact, I’ve been back since Sunday night, but I figured I should say something to get my pre-Anthrocon journal off my front page. I had a great time, aside from some terrifying moments driving through a downpour on the way up Thursday.

This was the third time I’ve been to Anthrocon, and the first time I’ve traveled there by myself. Atraties, Stormslegacy, and Blitzava were great hosts and excellent roommates, even if I didn’t spend much time actually in the room aside from sleeping and showering. Instead I spent most of my time wandering around the convention center, most frequently hanging out in the main convention hall or the tabletop gaming room. In the evenings, I went to events like 2’s Rant and Uncle Kage’s Story Hour and had a blast at the nightly technodanceparties. Also, I got to hug an oryx.

I’m looking forward to next year, and hopefully in 2011 I’ll be able to find someone to drag along with me. Or to drag me along. Whichever comes first.
