It certainly was. It killed my love for that series outright.
In fact, it butchered it painfully fast with the use of a butter knife frozen over with salt water. Mother fucker.

I managed to stomach watching the directors commentary... and was shocked to see they took out everything that would link the second book/movie! That and i dont think it helped they started the movie and the only feel i got was it was a race to the finish -__-
