Making a suit by the end of the month is possible if you have the free time and have the supplies rush ordered. Ive been investigating making a fursuit too, so i cant actually give you any tips. Does this mean that you're going to be making appearences at cons now? c:

Yes, PLEASE don't go with fur from Joanns.... it's funfur, and it sucks.
I agree with Neon, eyes are a big part of fursuit, make sure they fit the head.
I can't help you a whole bunch until you start foaming and post a WIP. I can redline it for ya :D
Also, the red marking might be a bit hard, the ones around the eyes at least. :o

With the head base, you have two options, all foam and balaclava (some do mesh but I never have, and some say it doesn't hold up well) Balaclava can make for a more fitted look, and brings about moving jaws easier. All foam is better for toony-er heads, as they look bigger, and kinda cute :3

If theres anything specific you'd like to know, i'd be more then happy to help! I'm not a super good maker or anything, but I know most of how it's done. :P
