Okay mayhaps not good news. But is currently having a wonderfully weird and mildly difficult time in the shower...only using one hand, the other in a bread bag... I'm laughing...heartily.

Saturday night we went to my ol' man's house for a fourth of July pre bash sort of thing. A evening of good food and blowing shit up.

Hozz wanted to show off his smoking skills for brisket and needed to chop some of his wood smaller for the job. He inquired for a hatchet to do that and Dad told him so long as he didn't cut his fingers off sure.

Well...guess what he did right off the bat?

He's got a big gash in the end of his thumb, right from the nail after to the tip of his thumb. He's darn proud of it. So'm I. He'll be fine, it was our sacrifice to the fire gods, glad we got it over early.
