I came over a realization a couple of days ago. Maybe it's just my aging, however I don't think I like tapestries anymore.
It's not that I don't like the people in it, however I feel like spending hours upon hours in a scene to get off is too much of a waste of my time anymore. This is time I feel can be spent elsewhere. I might log in for chatting and non-sexual RP from time to time, I just think that if I'm spending that much time and effort into text based role-playing just to get off, then I might just rather forget about it.
Now I'm not saying I have a life... I still waste plenty of time in Final Fantasy XI, but at least there I feel like I'm having fun and I have some sense of accomplishment. Wasting 6 to 8 hours in a single scene just feels pointless to me now.
Who knows, maybe I just need time away and I'll come back to it, who knows what the future sill bring?
