02) What was your dream growing up? To be a scientist. I'm there, and am doing that.
03) What talent do you wish you had? I wish that I could draw; proportions are silly putty in my hands, so I do photomorphs where proportions are constrained. OK, I don't see a doughnut and a coffee cup as looking the exactly the same, but they don't look as different to me as you might think.
04) If I bought you a drink, what would it be? India pale ale or wine.
05) Favorite vegetable? Tomatoes. OK, tomatoes are actually fruits, but I love them so much that I grow my own. If you have only eaten store bought tomatoes, you have no idea as to what fresh vine ripened ones taste like.
06) What was the last book you read? "Ubiquity" which is about self-organized criticality and chaotic cascade events obeying stochastic power laws. If you read this, you will never think of history in the same way again.

34) Do you believe in God? I believe in quantum mechanics. Anything that allows one to make predictions about the real world that they can then confirm to 12 decimal places in the laboratory should be taken very very very very seriously.
