well, im pretty much more into ferals than anthro, both in general, rp and yiff art/fetishes, etc. :}

For me, I think I prefer the feral/quad... though, she's still sentient and wears a scarf, she just has the non-anthro body. In general though, I don't have a real preference for other people's characters or art.

As for yiff art/fetish art, I don't really look at it. My preference there is... not yiff/fetish xD Haha.

I agree. My character is exactly the same. I normally RP as a foot-high feral cat, but sometimes I'm a 6-foot anthro. Or even a 4-foot antro (like the ref. pic you did for me). Depends on the situation/room.

I often use the quad/feral side to represent something. They can be more expressive and yet also quite separate from what may be going on in a given situation, whereas an anthro functions much as a human stand-in while still retaining some animalistic forms of expression. It's both symbolic and fantastic anyway.

My dog-sitting picture was feral because anthro Dodger wouldn't be big enough to hilariously crush Clayton enough. But then I tend to draw anthro Dodger for everything else because she has optional wings, and if I'm feeling lazy, I ain't drawing wings.

Besides, I thought a lot of people switched between anthro and feral anyway?

I've noticed there are a lot of people who do draw both, but some people have a reason for it... Like, they're a were or something... Or just general shapeshifters... or turn feral when doused with cold water and anthro with hot water... or take a Dr Jekyll/Mr Hyde sorta potion...
Also some people have rules for when they can be drawn as a particular form, and this should be taken into consideration when drawing gift art or commissions of that character.
Some people have the two forms as separate characters, with the same markings and name... Sometimes it's not just anthro/feral, but also cub forms, or angelic/demon forms... or whatever.

I know how you feel really, whenever others ask how I'm depicted (Feral or Anthro.) I tell them both and they ALWAYS ask why.

Perhaps because I enjoy to do as I please in terms of acting and working with others? I mostly prefer myself as Feral, but when I'm anthro it would be much much easier to interact with them despite not being a very large feral at all.

As Patrio I'm an anthro, no shape-shifting abilities to speak of, but when I'm feeling down be it sad or just plain bored senseless, I go for the quad shape, no explanation other than 'it allows me to mope while curled up all sad looking' ^.^
