Ok, not really, but he is in town here.......shooting, of all things, Transformers 3. Apparently they have plans to use our famous 'transforming' art museum for the film (as well as some of the abandoned mills and factories still littering the menomonee river valley, probably going to blow them up). Filming began today, which means shia labouff and the rest of the gang were all at the lakeshore. They did have try outs for extras last week, regrettably it was for a demographic I didn't quite fit in (or rather didn't have the proper attire for as had to try out looking the part). Still, the news coverage of this whole thing has been rather entertaining, especially since I think someone with the news is an old school cartoon fan as they keep tossing in a bunch of visual reference gags covering the story.
