So freaking blocked!

Well that's the second time I've ever been blocked on Furaffinity. Both times I find it interesting how strongly people over react to either differences in opinion or criticism. Whatever happened to freedom of speech and the respect of being heard? You don't have to like what someone says, but you should at least listen, who knows you might end up sharing more in common with them than you think. Now mind, there are those recently on this journal I've been quite venomous with, even vulgar. But that was always the last straw, the FA form of asking someone to leave your house, and even then I don't slap a restraining order on them.

There's freedom to speak, freedom to listen, freedom to not speak and freedom to not listen. You have all the speaking freedom in the universe, but if they want to not listen to you, they have all that freedom too. No need to ask why, or question the maturity or intelligence of the choice. They made it, it was a freedom, it's done. And blocking on FA is hardly a restraining order. That's taking FA way too seriously. For whatever reason, they did it, and it's done.

...wow...never have you been so skillful at saying...nothing...before. Good job ^_^

When you think about it, nothing needed to be said. But still, it's better to at least note that you might be taking FA too seriously. I mean, they are too. But why does it bother you?

Actually what strikes me is that other people take FA too seriously. I take FA very lightly. I suppose clipped text on a web based journal isn't flexible enough to parley my amusement.

I sort of got that. It IS rather a big joke. Sadly, I was looking at it as a "provoked reaction/responding to a problem" rather than "Hey, check out this dude swallowing his own fist" freakshow kinda thing. In that instance, yea, the humor comes through loud and clear.
