Why does it take me over 3 hours to try to sketch?

Why. I hate this. I jinxed myself by saying I was getting back in my 'groove', and I'm back to spending hours on awful sketches that make me hate them more the more I try to work on them. I even try scrapping them like I should if I spend too long on them, but they all end up this way, no matter what. Either scrapped, or worked on for an obscenely long time, making me increasingly frustrated while wasting valuable time. Why am I so bad at sketching? Why can't I do this right?

I don't know about you, but I think it's because we think to much about what it is we want to draw... What we got to do is learn how to half-ass our sketches... Just try to remember, 'Don't think, Just draw'... It's sure helped me a few times... :)
So day after day he's tweak it to make sure everything was perfect, and finall around two monthes til the end of the year finished. He took one look at it, and said 'This looks like butt.'
The moral, I guess, is the more you obsess over something the more flaws you see in it.
