In the mean time while waiting for a job you want, you should still apply for stuff like fast food. Money is money.

Do you have a Walmart in your area? My brothers worked at walmart for a while, not only does it pay pretty good, you get insurance if you're there for a year~! And a discount card for stuff at their store after 3 months, if your walmart works anything like the walmart here.

We do have one nearby. I am gonna go on an applying spree asap.

Unfortunately that's just the world we live in. Too many people, not enough jobs. Bad luck can't last forever, though! I had to wait several months for the vet clinic to call me back, wanting me to be a secretary, and I know for sure that they are going to give me an amazing reference for my next job. I had absolutely 0% work experience before then. They tried to convince me to come back after I quit every single time I came in, lol. So don't let it get you down if nothing happens right away, just do your best and content yourself with the knowledge that someday someone is going to ask themselves "why the fuck didn't I hire her sooner? fuuuucckkkk"

I would love to work at a vet clinic as a secretary. Anything having anything to do with animals.

It is extremely easy.
pro-tip: be ready to deal with EXTREMELY RETARDED people. Someone called asking for a do-it-yourself book on how to crop a dog's ears.... You'll also have to deal with the fact that some people do not (or cannot) spend money on an extremely ill animal. It's very, very frustrating.

I dunno what answers to give in the interview. That's the hard part.
I can be patient. I am determined. I just need a chance.

Just be honest, show them that you are eager and ready and most of all: capable. Honestly don't say that you want this job because you "love animals", you want this job because you are confident in your abilities to be whatever they need you to be. Being able to work holidays is always a plus.

I tried not to say it was for the animals at the interview. I dunno if I will get the job, prolly not. But now I feel more confident about future interviews.
